Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

-Accelerate revenue growth and sales productivity for Starnes Media’s digital product suite, as well as sales for our other offerings that may benefit our clients.
Identify digital sales opportunities to existing clients and prospects.
-Sit in on consultative sales calls both in our office and in the field.
-Work with the digital team on marketing and strategy with services such as PPC, SEO, Programmatic Advertising, and Web Development.
-Work with leadership to ensure that digital packages are delivered.
-Work with leadership on package creation and sales.
-Participate in setting and monitoring KPIs for campaigns. Make suggestions to adjust course when needed.
-Work collaboratively with the digital team on strategy.
-Participate in the training of new hires and working with the director of sales to develop ongoing digital training.
-Reviewing client digital reporting and analytics, training sales team on best practices with analytics reporting to include Google Analytics & internal digital metrics

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

-Experience in digital marketing tools and tactics. The ability to perform client audit and analysis in order to provide a strategy and recommendations.
-An intense desire to be measured (and be rewarded when you perform according to those measurements).
-Experience working in a smaller, startup-type environment. Our company culture is highly lean and entrepreneurial.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
-B2B sales experience required. You must know how to speak to business owners and executives, and understand their critical pain points.
-Must have a solid understanding of consultative and solutions focused selling.

Education and Experience:

-Bachelor’s degree in a sales or marketing field, related psychology field, business administration or equivalent.
-Minimum 3 years of experience in digital marketing sales and business development.
-Experience in a digital agency preferred.
-Google Analytics and Google My Business certifications preferred.
-Extensive  experience in account development and proven ability to close sales.
-Proficient computer skills (e.g. MS Office, Outlook, Excel, CRM software).

Work Environment and Physical Demand:
-Must have a valid Driver’s License.
-Must have ability to stand and walk due to the mobile nature of the job.
-Must be able to effectively communicate complex topics both verbally and in writing.
-Ability to read, write and analyze detailed information.
