BRASFIELD & GORRIE Diversity and Inclusion Manager The Diversity and Inclusion Manager will be part of our Corporate Responsibility team and will be responsible for partnering with business stakeholders and external partners to create and deliver experiences designed to build a culture of inclusion and help continue building a diverse workforce. Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned): Recruiting and Talent Acquisition Assist the Director of Corporate Responsibility and serve as a partner to the recruiting team and hiring managers on diversity recruiting strategy and initiatives Conduct research to understand where di
verse talent pools exist and work collaboratively with the recruiting team to execute on diversity sourcing initiatives to tap into those talent pools Facilitate and grow relationships with historically black colleges and universities, minority serving programs and organizations important to increasing diversity outcomes Assist with strategy and engagement to broaden company involvement with community and industry workforce development programs Supplier and Subcontractor Inclusion Assist the Director of Corporate Responsibility with executing company strategy to increase inclusion of diverse suppliers and subcontractors Prepare and conduct training sessions and serve as an internal expert to deploy best practices in minority subcontractor and supplier inclusion Support Preconstruction and project teams with minority subcontractor outreach and engagement including coordinating outreach events and working with trade associations and clients Facilitate, grow, and strengthen relationships with diversity industry associations, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors Work collaboratively with other professionals in supplier diversity roles to build positive working relationships that can help inform our internal and external business practices Employee Education and Engagement Contribute to the development and implementation of company diversity training programs and communications to promote inclusive leadership and awareness of company diversity initiatives Education/Qualifications/Experience/Skills: Bachelor’s Degree required Ten years of professional work experience with a minimum of five years working with diversity and inclusion Demonstrated passion and experience working on diversity and inclusion initiatives Proven experience in working within a team and in a corporate environment Strategic and analytical thinker; Excellent skills in analyzing data and reporting trends Excellent oral and written communication skills Proven experience with establishing external relationships Willingness to travel to various meetings, events, and office locations The above description covers the principal duties and responsibilities of the job.
