The Territory Sales Representative will need have sold solutions in the clinical healthcare space and thoroughly understand the priorities and business operations of clinical practice management, smaller physician’s groups, electronic medical record providers and smaller hospital environments.

Responsibilities of Strategic Sales Representative
20%      Create & execute on territory planning & targeted value propositions
40%      Drive sales networking & referrals through phone, email, social media, conferences, web meetings and in person meetings
10%     Updating CRM to aid Marketing in branding & direct marketing, Operations for implementations and forecasting purposes
20%     Active participation in demand generation campaigns
10%     Continuing personal education and internal communication around healthcare trends, customer needs and changes in the competitive landscape

Summary of Professional Qualifications:
The Territory Sales Representative should enjoy and excel at creating long term, trusting relationships and be a strong leader.  He/she should also be an excellent communicator both orally and in writing.
-  Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare software & services sales preferred
-  Must demonstrate a history of sales success in both net new and existing account sales
-  Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive business relationships internally & externally
-  Personal accountability, organization & a will to win are a must
-  Executing on territory penetration plans into a target market with a single or small group of decision makers and deal influencers.
-  Must be comfortable executing & being able to demonstrate success driving much of the sales cycle remotely (phone, email, web, video)
-  Must be proficient and willing to regularly use a CRM application, email, excel & collaboration software (WebEx, Go-To-Meeting, Zoom, Zoho Cliq etc.)
-  Must be comfortable with and excel at negotiation, presenting proposals in front of a group, leading sales meetings (internally & externally) and working both independently and as part of a team.   
-  Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling customers, qualifying sales opportunities, closing sales and establishing speed to trust (developing customer relationships)
-  Communication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the specific benefits of a product/service to a targeted customer.
-  Ability and willingness to travel by car or air to meet with customers and attend conferences (~15% out of town travel)
